Its a rare chance to catch Officers in training like Friday - but its an even more rare and unique opportunity to be able to catch the boys of a Rural brigade doing a Permit burn.
Greenbank 41 / 42 / and 61 were doing not only a Permit to burn but got some training for new recruits in as well on property at Greenbank this morning.
Rural crews work Friday to Friday with 4 crews per month rotating.
Many thanks to O.I.C. Baulch and two other crew members from Crew2 and to the other members from other crews for giving me this wonderful chance to catch our often "unseen" RURAL firefighters in action.
