Attended my 2nd May Day parade in the City today, images of not only the UNITED FIREFIGHTERS UNION members but other Unions from the parade as well.
While there were hardly any vehicles / floats, there was a definate increase in size of those participating in the parade - it was at least double the size.
And given this, the parade started in Wharf St, along Wickham, then St Pauls Tce, into Alexandria St across Gregory Tce and into the RNA showgrounds.
The Premier Mr Beattie was joined in the parade by Opposition Leader Kim Beasley.
